What would you do if you had a day, a week or a month to live?

What would you do if you had one day, one week or one month to live?

Where would you go, what would you see or capture as precious memories of your life?

Who would you be honest with or what would you release and who would be there no matter what?

Right now, I am learning to trust and listen to the small still voice as it encourages me to embrace a new authentic life. My inspiration is the Hasidic story of Rabbi Zusya.

On his death bed surrounded by his students, during the last moments of his life the Rabbi began to sob.

When they asked him why he was sobbing this was his response:

- If God asks me why did I not act like Abraham, I can clearly say I was not Abraham.

- If God asks me why did I not act like Moses, then I can also say I was not Moses.

- However if God asks me was I Zusya? I am afraid I do not know the answer.

The small still voice within loves and guides us to be creative, authentic, happy, peaceful, powerful, loving and compassionate in our lives. Take some time to be quiet and review your day, week, month or even life as you listen to that small still voice. Remember, it will save your life as it gives you moment by moment information not a life plan. May you live a LIFE that is pleasing to your creator and soul, as you listen and trust this small still voice!
